The fixes in this candidate largely relate to connecting to non local hosts as opposed to those that are detected via Bonjour on the local LAN. These non local hosts will typically be accessed over the Internet.

The example script count now exceeds 100 and thanks go to Adrian Nier for permission to use some of his scripts.

A couple of significant issues have been addressed in addition to 20 or so lesser matters:

1. Files to be returned to the client can now be specified using an HFS style path. This should have been possible long ago as it is still the canonical AppleScript form.

Two major issues were fixed regarding the processing of text result sets of 2MB size and above. The first caused the app to stall while processing the result, the second caused a crash.

This release is more or less feature complete. All known issues have been addressed.

This is just a release to keep the current beta active.
No work has been done since beta 1.3 with the exception of the use of trusted root code signing.

I am back working at the app now and am working towards a first public release in the early new year. No new features to be added. Just the hard graft of stabilising what is present. Anyhow, it will make a change from wrestling with the talented but unruly monster that is CoreData.

This is release candidate 2, a necessity forced upon us by the discovery of a bug that prevented the document from being marked as dirty when new images were added or user units were deleted. The issue had been introduced when providing Snow Leopard compatibility.

Now going for the first release.
