One of the G4 mac mini test machines is still refusing to connect to the server agent. The other machines are not exhibiting the problem. Despite this I decided to make the alpha release available today.

With regard to the flaky mac min some experimenting with the SSL settings and some delving into the keychain revealed that the private certificate was not being created correctly. Several crashes later, and having flicked the SSL preference on and off, things seemed to right themselves. To be investigated further, and hopefully resolved in the next release.
